Three views of the Canal du Midi

In anticipation of Wednesday’s “feature post” on the Canal du Midi here are three views of the canal.

Sunrise
The trees along the canal make a wonderful natural colonade as fine as any greek temple or gothic cathedral.
Once the locks closed at 7 pm we had "our" section of the canal all to ourselves.
